In the season finale and final episode for 2018, Sunit interviews Crystal Escobar of the Wanna Be Balanced podcast and brand. Crystal shares how she and her husband became millionaires at the age of 27, retired by age 35, and now live a life with complete time freedom. Crystal gets really raw and deep about her path going from being a devout mormon to a spiritual seeker. They talk about her new book that is coming out in 2019, how she feels about the people who have turned on her for speaking her truth, and some of the biggest resources she has turned to, to help her on this journey. She also shares the "secrets" to her success online, which of course, really aren't secrets at all. We all know it takes hard work, longevity, and consistency to make anything a success. Crystal also shares her emotional journey through motherhood, wanting more children, and getting a tubal ligation reversal at one point, because she was so conflicted about what she really wanted. You do not have to be mormon, or even religious, to resonate with this episode. Crystal's story is one that every woman can relate to. Growing up being told how to think, feeling like you need to push your feelings down, having big dreams but not being able to dream them, not being sure you have what it takes to create financial freedom for yourself, feeling conflicted about motherhood...they talk about it ALL. Crystal took a little break from instagram at the time this episode was recorded, but she is back! Go follow her:

In this solo episode, Sunit talks about the power of saying thank you and ending the conversation there. How often do you receive a compliment about something and find yourself brushing it off? Or being self deprecating? Or excusing it somehow? Why cant we just own what we bring to the table? Why do we feel the need to add a "but" or some type of explanation after the fact? We do this with everything, including, our appearance, what we are wearing, our children, our work, the list goes on. Owning our worth and what we bring to the table, regardless of how big or small, regardless of whether it feels superficial or not, is a key to developing that self love that many of us lack. It is also a key piece for success. Listen in and see if this resonates with you, and use this holiday season to shift your mindset around it!

She talks about really looking at the guideposts that are directing and inspiring you, and why it is important to recognize yourself as a leader and lead by example. She shares why she feels she is having success in parenting and business, and why she feels the need to live what she preaches, and why you should too. An absolute must listen for anyone who is a parent or striving to be a leader in any way in their life!

Jul 17, 2018

She also talks about why it's important to foster this in our families and our children, and how to get vulnerable and do the work to get to where you need to be.

Any mom who considers herself a driven go getter will enjoy this conversation and Monaica's honest, laid back style. They talk about how they have both managed to let go of the "juggle" in this season of their lives, what they prioritize in life, how being a driven mom is different than being a driven man, and ponder mom guilt, among other things.

Jun 26, 2018

Sunit talks with Tara Clancy of Nurturing Literacy. Tara specializes in helping children develop language and reading skills, and shares her personal story of discovering some barriers to literacy in her own kids. Undiscovered problems that cause all sorts of other issues in young children, including delays in literacy, poor sleep, physical manifestations such as elongated jaw, and delayed potty training at night, among other things, could be the root of seemingly mysterious problems in early childhood. Tara and Sunit both share their personal experiences with their own children, and the signs and symptoms that led them to finding solutions, and Tara shares what else to look for and also the steps you can take to intercept these problems. This is an episode that all young moms need to hear. Your child's behaviour issues or delays in other areas could be the result of an undiagnosed sleep or breathing issue. These often go unnoticed because they manifest at night while you think your child is having a restful sleep. An absolute must listen episode!

Jun 19, 2018

Not only does this serve your childcare needs, but it also fosters the idea of the village, and looks to build relationships outside of just childcare. The idea is genius, and will have you thinking, "why didn't I think of that?".
